Grant Aid – Does your group need a cash boost?

The town council’s Grant Aid scheme helps out local groups by making cash donations to them. In October 2009, £1,382.50 was shared by Friends of Combe Royal Park, Kingsbridge Celebrates Christmas, Dodbrooke Church, Vitalise, 1^st and 2^nd Kingsbridge Guides, Young Devon’s Young Carers Project, Victim Support (Devon) and Kingsbridge Walkers Are Welcome.

If you think your local group requires a small cash boost towards a deserving cause, an environmental or youth-related project, or maybe an item of equipment, which would benefit local people in recreational, social or cultural pursuits, then you are encouraged to apply. The scheme is open for bids twice in each financial year and the next deadline for applications is 19 March 2010 (and then 17 September 2010). We regret that organisations may only receive one donation per year. Application forms can be obtained from the Council Offices or downloaded by clicking here for conditions and application form.
